Well there is ALOT of progress to report. I ended up sanding and remudding the drywall, then sanding it all down as smooth as I could. I’m sure that a pro would laugh at me and tell me all the things I did wrong but I think it was a decent attempt for my first time. So we’ve finished painting and I begin on the trim work this evening. Once it was painted I couldn’t stop my self from putting the TV back up.

So now I have a real wall. The drywall is up and the first stage of taping and mudding is done.

Willy and Paul came over to help get the drywall in place.

The wiring is all 100 percent now. I have built all the pockets and installed all the plugs except for the ones on the front of the wall. On the back of the device pocket I have the speaker connections and 3 RJ45 network plugs and a coax hookup.

The speakers are being wired in the wall and each of the speaker pockets have hookups.

On the side of the device pocket I have an HDMI port, RJ45, and RG6.

I ran the PVC aswell so now once I put up the drywall I will still be able to route power, video, and audio cables.

One of the two bookshelves are in. I just have to finish the last bookshelf and I’m ready for drywall.

All of the framing is now complete. I am going to start on boxing the different pockets in today along with the casings for the book shelves. The fan is fully installed now.

Also I installed one of the book case lights to determine if i liked them or not.

Also I dig the switches we got.
